Over my 1.5 years of DE shaving 99% of it has been with a superspeed and I use a Gillette New when I haven't shaved in a few days. I always get much better shaves with the NEW. I was thinking, instead of using it only once a week or so, why not switch to it every day? Does anyone else use a New or an open comb as their daily razor?
Does anyone use a NEW as an everyday razor?

I only shave every other or every third day, and yes, I use either a 1934 Aristocrat or bob's Bull Mastiff handle with a replated NEW long tooth head. Both are great!
I use my NEW often, especially if I've skipped shaving for a day or two.

I rotate, but the NEW has been coming up more frequently than others in the last 2 months.
+1, and now the New Improved, as well.
I seldom use anything other than a NEW, New Improved or Old Type open combs.
Same goes for me too. I do sometimes go to my fat and my slim, but nothing matches the NEW and NEW improved imo. Even as a open comb, I can still use it daily without issues, especially with a feather blade.com
At the moment, I use open combs exclusively. I love it. I have a NEW with a bull mastiff handle that I use 80% of time. When I'm not using a NEW, I use a straight!
I've been using my New daily for quite a long time... couple weeks ago I used my Fatboy and Merkur 11C briefly while "experimenting" with a Feather Blade. Dropped that idea very quickly and returned to my Gillette New and Derby blades and with Red Box Personna Blades.
(Replated) short teeth NEW in rotation with a Slim Twist and a Schick Golden '500' Injector.
I have a Sheraton opened combed TTO and it doesn't do it for me.
Mt favorite razor is a NEW with long combs.
I shave my head and the turned over long combs feels better on my head then short comb NEWs or Old Types.
I've been using mine a good bit lately, today being the exception in order to try out a NOS injector I picked up.
Have a couple of 30's Gillettes that I'm loving!
Don't use the cased one that often. Plan on getting the one in the second pic re-plated eventually.

I, too, was a SuperSpeed user. Got great shaves. But I got a Bull Mastiff recently, which has a NEW head. It took some getting used to, probably 4 or 5 shaves in a row, but now that I have, it has turned into my regular razor. Can't seem to stop using it, even sold one of my SS.
