DE Razors for very sensitive skin

Three suggestions have made a lot of sense to me: a more aggressive edge to reduce time with blade on skin, an adjustable, and either mastering the Gillette slide or getting a slant. The Rex Konsul might be your grail razor. And then there's the fact that I have yet to see a used one for sale. Whatever you do, best of luck.

For me, irritation comes from one or more of three issues:
1. Poor prep.
2. Pressure.
3. Sub-optimal shaving angle.

In other words, IME with proper technique I get little or no irritation. The razor is generally secondary.

That said, I fortunately do not suffer from allergic reactions to products.

Very astute from @BigJ as per usual. 👍

I suppose OP has long since checked out but just wanted to bump for others potential benefit.

It's quite an intricate dance we do dragging this steel across our faces. So many elements to consider. BigJ's post is a fantastic place to begin, though.

IMHO if your skin is sensitive you need three friendly items.

Razor, Blades, and Soap your skin likes.

No one’s skin is like your, people can make suggestions, but your mission is to find what your skin likes.❤️
