I've been seeing this on the news more and more the last few days. I was just talking to a friend about it and he suggested its growing more quickly than I had known. I checked the CNN site for it here;
This map tracks the coronavirus in real time - https://www.cnn.com/2020/01/29/health/coronavirus-map-real-time-tracking-trnd/index.html
This from that site updated by them at Updated 8:56 PM ET, Wed January 29, 2020. Just last night.
From that site I found this site;
Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS - https://gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6
Thats a live map. As of the time I type this: Last Update: Jan 31, 2020 5 pm ET.
That 3,869 new cases in less than 24 hours. That seems like a high rate of spread to me, but what do I know? lol
Clearly I need to read a bit more, I generally dont pay a lot of attention to the news but apparently, the WHO is calling this virus a "global emergency".
Just curious if anyone else is following this outbreak and what some thoughts might be about it.
