Can anyone help with long lasting ASB suggestions.

Without belaboring why I'm asking, I am looking for after shave balms that really provide a nice scent for a longer period of time. The one I have and love is C&E Nomad......but its really the only one. (Love Em's scents and they are so refreshing but it vanishes almost immediately.)

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Pre de Provence seems to last a good while on me. You could try mixing some Clubman (quite possibly the longest lasting AS ever) with a little Nivea or 444 to get both long lasting plus balm benefits.

I got a tube of TOBS Sandalwood ASB and have to say, it's pretty long lasting. Haven't tried other scents from them to compare; fwiw I like the ASB scent better than the cream.

Edwin Jagger Sea Buckthorn ASB has lots of staying power for me.

I don't know any. Certainly the few I've used are mostly balm and scent longevity is secondary. Even the Floris a/s balm is all that strong.

So, tell us now, why do you ask?

I just wear cologne if I want to smell good. To me, ASB's are primarily for soothing irritation and burn after the shave..... and for moisturizing somewhat long term. I like a nicely scented one, but I don't count on it to last long because they generally don't. Cologne is easy.... just a spray or two and you're good.

I know I'm kind of an apostle of this particular AS, but I'm actually not trying to be funny with this suggestion. But the VEG (Pinaud) lingers quite a while. If it's a fragrance you can tolerate (who am I kidding you don't choose the VEG, the VEG chooses you), then give it a try.

+1 Pre de Provence. Also institut karite and Proraso new formula silver label green tea and oat have decent staying power. The razorock la familia series are pretty good too - i have il Zeppino and don Marco.

Really? I love the smell of Brut and was excited to try the balm, but when I got it, it had hardly any scent at all and it didn't last very long. I PIFd it away after a couple uses.

I didn't get a chance to use mine for very long, as my wife hates the scent and she tossed it. From what I remember, it felt very good on my face and I liked the scent, but I don't remember how long it lasted.
