Opened and took a whiff of the "For Chicago" and also the "Santa Maria del Fiore" . Both very nice scent - i've been using L'Eau d'Issey for many years so was curious about the Razorock For Chicago.
Both soaps are softer than say Arko, but firm enough to be easy to press into a twist up tube as a shave stick, which is how i prefer things - have both prepared and ready.
First shave with the For Chicago this morning - it's a tricky thing to duplicate L'eau d'Issey i'd say, but it is very pleasant and an easy to lather soap. It'll be a few more shaves with it and compare to SV Argania which is my gold standard, but well worth a try as it's typical Razorock good value (the For Chicago is a smaller tub than others).
I'll be trying out the SMDF tomorrow - and have something I want to try with it and also with PdeP B&T and 63 which are both lovely scents, easy to lather and ok for shave.
I have a bottle of argan oil, and have put some in a misting bottle - i'll wipe some shave soap on the face as per normal and then give a small spray of the argan oil on top and lather up and see how they do.
