C.O. Bigelow AKA Proraso vs Body Shop vs Kiss My Face

First, welcome to B&B Balto!

My preference, in order, would be:

C.O.Bigelow/Proraso
Kiss My Face Lavender
Body Shop

I really like the "barber shop" smell of COB/Proraso, plus I get the closest, most comfortable shave with it, plus it's very inexpensive.

The Kiss My Face Lavendar also provides a very comfortable shave, and has a nice moisturizing quality. It's also relatively inexpensive, and the pump bottle it comes in is very handy, too. My wife also likes and uses this one daily.

I'm not a big fan of the new Body Shop formula, the Macca (sp?) version. I really liked the scent of the old formula better. I thought it was unique and enjoyed it, even though it got mixed reviews for the scent.

I have, and will continue to have both C.O.Bigelow and Kiss My Face Lavendar in my rotation. Also, I tried the KMF Lime, and didn't care for it as much, it didn't seem to have the same moisturizing quality as Lavender.

I just picked up a tube of the C.o.Bigelow and must say it is a very enjoyable product. The only other cream I've used, so far, is Art of Shaving, and I find the Bigelow to be more enjoyable. The eucalyptus, in the Bigelow, is soothing and smells great.

I've not tried KMF and have only tried the original Body Shop. However, from the Proraso and Body Shop, I'd take the proraso due to the cooling effect, slickness and the way it leaves my skin after. On the other hand, the Body Shop is more thicker (as a cream etc.) and possibly more lubricating, but the price is the sealer and this is where Proraso beats it. Also proraso is more easier to lather.

BTW I prefer/use the soap version.

I haven't tried the new Body Shop cream, but I really view these three as just different; I own, and use, them all (well, actually, I just killed my old Body Shop tub last week...snif...)

Proraso's great for warmer days, and the Body Shop for cooler days. KMF is just a good standby for whenever. I tend to use it the least, but only because I mixed it with a few soaps.
