Parts should start trickling in over the next few days. I hope to begin assembly fairly soon. I have some Ergo grips and forend M-lok covers on hand. Aero forend and Sheppard Scope in route from Optics Planet. Multiple small pieces inbound from Wings Tactical.

If you'd like to save a buck I like these as much as the several Geissele triggers I've already got. One will be in my next couple builds.

If you're set on the Geissele rather than backordering through Brownell's, unless you got a sale price, I'd get on Geissele's mail list, they do sales all the time, the SSA-E is usually around $185 on sale.

If you found a better deal, take it!
PSA has the SSA-E on sale for $179, order placed. Brownell's order too late to cancel, but 100% return policy, it will be going back!

I think your future range reports when breaking in the Sheppard glass will be a very interesting and enjoyable read.

$179 would still get two of the Larue triggers, giving you an excuse for another build, lol.

You'll like the Geissele though.

I might consider a LaRue trigger for one of my Bushmasters at a later date.

Some minimalist bling. Although I had a dust cover in my UPK (upper parts kit), I couldn't resist the "Crusader" dust cover from Spike's . And keeping with that theme, I had to get the Noveske pivot and take-down pin set. Also shown are Forward Control's FDE endplate three point sling adapter and castle nut. A nice contrast with the OD frameset.

Going to try the Elftmann Ambi Speed Safety just because it's different. Strike Industries Enhanced Bolt Catch and an Aero springs and detents kit. Not shown and already installed is a Strike Industries magazine catch.

Pivot pin, detent and (wrong) spring. Finally figured out which spring to use from the parts kit by trial and error!

I forgot to take a picture of one step in the sequence where the silver pin is inserted to depress the spring and detent prior to rotating the gizmo up 90 degrees to capture spring and detent, prior to starting to insert the pivot pin in the above photo.

Difficult to show in pictures, using hemostats to put the proper twist in the spring for the dust cover. This is something that was gleaned from the DVD I bought, that would have been difficult to figure out on my own, but they did not use hemostats in the video.

Spikes "Crusader" dust cover installed with spring working correctly. "Deus Vult" or "God Wills It". Notice Noveske cross on pivot pin.

About as far as I can go until more parts arrive. Hopefully will install the trigger and safety if the trigger arrives today. And then I'll be able to install the Ergo pistol grip, which will hold in place the spring and detent for the safety. I won't be able to install the spring and detent for the rear receiver take down pin, along with the back plate and castle nut, until my SBA3 arm brace and receiver extension comes in.

It is straining my resolve to not order more stuff before I find out what Black Friday deals are available. Plus I need to give my wallet a rest!
