With the recently sharpened blade I went for my 1958 (TV Special) Superspeed. This is my third vintage razor in three days. This one is a little more aggressive than the Tech and New LC. I should have been a little more careful, snagged my skin and got quite the bleeder. A little direct pressure worked to stop it. Another fine shave. (#520 on the Feather.)

Wohoo a BBS! They may be far apart, but they are so sweet when they happen. Especially if it is coupled with being a comfortable shave it is a winner and it certainly was. Very nice shave.

I didn't shave most of the weekend, so it was nice to use a good soap today and enjoy the process.

It was Palmolive day again. Added a dash of glycerine, and got the usual super-creamy bowl lather, for an easy near-BBS.

I see I'm not the only Palmolive fan.



The originals were also 5 x 2 cardboard packaging, and expensive.

There was a game of "guess what these are, rebadged", because it seemed unlikely that they had their own production line, but I don't think we ever got a definitive answer.

That is a very interesting question! I would definitively buy 100 for a reasonable price (when i used up most of my Perma-Sharp in 3017).

Also, are there any other Gillette Razor Blades sold only in a 2x5 packaging? I haven‘t seen the KCG in bigger packaging yet.

Combo of Sour Patch kids washed down with Red Bull had zero effect

Is there a cheaper version of the King C Gillette blades?

I like these blades a lot too man. They are super sharp and extremely smooth. I use the blade two times, after that i throw it away. I can get a pack of 10 blades for 4,95€ in my local drugstore. That means i can shave 20 times for 4,95€. Yes, i know that i can get a 100 blades for much less...
