anyone know how to get n o/s valat blades shaveready

new old stock blades are a bit dull stroping alone is not working . anyone make this thing work? have whache the you tube vid showing a half pipe hone i dount have one and i belive it a bit to corse to work well anyway
i have try a pasted stoup with out much luck

I have access to an Optical Comparator at work, and have measured the angle of Durham Duplex blades (8 degrees) - and can now make a shim to match the angle for stoning - If you can send me a Valet blade, I can do the same measurement.

I have never had any luck getting a Valet blade sharp enough to shave with. The single edge hones are supposed to work but I find it takes too much work. I have three very nice Valet strops and two se hones and a bunch of nos blades. For me it has become more of a novelty rather then a viable shaving alternative. Good luck. I hope you succeed.

gray wolf "edited" is sending me 2 n o/s blades im gonna try

have you gotten the angals fro any other blades btw ? ie gem se cristey i bet the angel is the sames as se gem

the half hone is not best way to hone this blade im sure of it dount gave up on it yet
