Am I the only one that dislikes AoS lavander ?

heres the thing, i picked up a tub of AoS lavander,
and i´ve had it for a while, its almost done, i can see the bottom, but i dont know why, becuase as far as i can recall, i´ve never gotten a decent shave out of it,

the later is almost always dry by the third pass, i always get razor burn with it, i didnt expect it to be as good as taylors avocado or trumpers coconut, but its not even a match for much cheaper creams like la toja (la toja costs $2.5 for a 125ml tube here)

maybe its just that my technique isnt compatible with that cream, but i just dont like it,

but then again, its easy to say you dont like a dish after having eaten 3/4 of whats on the plate,

If it is drying out then is seems you need to add a bit of water.

For the burn, you could be sensitive to the oil in it.

I for one, think it is a great cream. I just have to keep fighting my wife for it.

To each his own. I rate AoS lavender at least as high as the coconut or avocado. Sorry you didn't fare better.

I think the AOS Lavender shaves great.
My problem with it is the smell.
I bought it hoping for the smell of TOBS but what I got was Kiehls.
Very light on the Lavender (to me) and the mentholated smell is almost as strong.
YMMV and all.
And I'm talking about the cream here of course.

Dislike? No. Like? Yes, with reservations.

I can't say I have any real issues with its performance; the scent is a little underwhelming, IMO. Perhaps there is an ingredient that doesn't agree with you. Have you had success with other AoS creams?

im just going to keep using that tub of thrumpers coconut i seem to love so much,

YMMV. AoS lavender gives me great shaves. I couldn't get a good shave out of GFT coconut so I sold it.

I loved the first tub I bought, but I love the lavender soap even more, and it's probably cheaper to use. Glad you found someone to finish it off for you.

I liked the smell and performance of the soap, but it seems nothing like lavender. To me, anyway.
