* The L'Occitane Cade soap didn't perform very well for me but I didn't want to waste the 11 euros of the refill in the bin.
So I grated the puck and mixed it with some grated Tabac soap. The resulting Tabacade soap worked a bit better this morning, but there's still some redness on my skin... Sure I won't buy some Cade again !

However, today I shaved under the look full of interest of my one-year-old son Adam, so the shave was pleasant !

Prep with TOBS preshave oil
English Fern (old formula) puck with T&H silvertip
Gillette ball end Tech with Personna Med Prep blade (really smooth combo for me)
Cool water rinse, then splashes with Iced Aqua Velva Ice Blue (current stock)
Followed by spay of English Fern EDT
Really moisturizing and cooling!

• Post: alum, T.N. Dickinson's Witch hazel
• Aftershave: Musgo Real Classic sample, jojoba oil

First go with the Institut Karité soap and I managed a decent lather and I know I can do even better. I couldn't care less for its scent, but the performance was very good and skin care amazing as you would expect from a shea butter soap.
