Hey Jack, is that 18 uses in a row? Are you finding the shaves become more carefree over time? Lately I have been using the same razor for 2-3 weeks at time and I find that the shaves are better.Still out
Shave number 18 with my toy Prismatic, no craving at all.
I thought to load it with a 7 o'clock Black and was in for two nasty surprises.
This tuck is supposed to contain ten blades, but.... only one.
Oh well..... I just shrugged, looking forward to using this one blade. I liked every shave with it and had high hopes. Surprise again: it was harsh, not at all what I expected. There were some small patches that could have used a little touch up, but I was glad the shave was sufficient and skipped the finishing touch this time. Proof that great blades can underperform too.
It will not come as a surprise: the Areffa was excellent. Quite thirsty though.

Funny you should ask. The past two shaves were bad. The Treet Platinum shaved like a potatoe peeler and this former favorite blade underperformed. Before these two moronic blades, most were good, great or excellent in the Prismatic.Hey Jack, is that 18 uses in a row? Are you finding the shaves become more carefree over time? I guess the upside is that it lets you focus mostly on blade performance. Its helped me narrow down which blades work with each razor. BIC Chrome in my WR2, is like a potato peeler (as you so aptly put it, lol) but they perform well in my WR1s .Funny you should ask. The past two shaves were bad. True, though this was the first misfit with the Black.I guess the upside is that it lets you focus mostly on blade performance. Its helped me narrow down which blades work with each razor. BIC Chrome in my WR2, is like a potato peeler (as you so aptly put it, lol) but they perform well in my WR1s .

Perhaps also some Port and Aguardente?Still in with a Cade shave today. Finished with St. John's Lime. I'll see you in March! I will be purchasing an item or two (aftershave treatments rather than soap or cream) in Portugal shortly.
A couple bottles of Vintage Port for certain!Perhaps also some Port and Aguardente?
