Have not honed any...I have none of the gear for straights...The F. Fenny Talley Ho and the red Imp 133 look very promising! Fantastic haul! Have you honed them yet????

Noooo!.... It's mine all mineNice score! They all look pretty good but if I had to choose one, I'd have to agree with Arne. I like the old ones.

This will be my first Henckels.
Looking forward to it arriving.
Ha, we'd make a good team. I remember about as much as you do.
Here's a close up of the tang. I just noticed that it has England on it so that would probably put it after 1890.

The razor have England in a half circle on the tang indicating trade markings. This razors is most likely late 18th or early 19th century, leaning towards the later. Either way they are fantastic shavers. i used a JR near wedge a week ago and really liked it.Joseph must have been a popular name in the 1800. I have a Joseph Smith & Sons, a Joseph Allen & Son, a Joseph Wostenholm & Sons, a Joseph Elliott, and now I have a Joseph Rodgers & Sons Cutlers to Their Majesties. On the blade it says The Rodgers.
What would be the time frame for this one? Mid 1800 to 1891?

Today was a good day at the flea market. I only had a couple of minutes so I went straight to my favorite vendor's booth. Actually he has his own room in the back of the building.
He had just brought in about 12 razors and a strop and I left with 6 of them and the strop.
There's a couple that I left that I've been thinking about so I'll probably be going back for them tomorrow or Friday. Here's what I picked up today.
