Zowada RAD with pics

Now nobody actually needs a razor like this. My Hart and TI do their job admirably, but if you really have a hankering for perfect here it is. Shape, symmetry, beautiful steel with incredible grinding and smooth handling. I couldn't help myself.

You inspired me to shave with mine tonight thanks. That one is especially good looking.

I want one too and I keep on planning on buying one but then I check my checking account balance and then I remember I cannot afford one.

Yes it is one of the Claus models from Tim. A 5/8 that really does shave dreamy. It came in the case and the attention to detail is outstanding. The "Shave Ready" edge he provides is incredible. It is making me consider experimenting with his double bevel technique. A short linen latigo stroping and it melts through whiskers. Lighter than my Hart and jimpless it remains very steady in my hand and maneuvers easily around my face. No doubt some of what I am experiencing is placebo effect from using such a handsome blade. All quality straight razors shave, but all the small details he puts into his work really come together to make more than the some of its parts.

Absolutely stunning! Let's see Damascus steel, thumb notch, shoulder notch, cocobolo? scales, French point, damn!! Good on you. Enjoy! Only in my dreams. What's the grind?

Thank you! The scales are actually a wood called Bocote. Not exactly sure what your asking about the grind, but I will take a stab at it. What I was referring to is the fantastic grind lines. I have done a bit of work with steel over the years and I know that achieving good symmetrical mirror perfect grind lines is a real monster. For me it is all but impossible and akin to magic. This kind of precision could be easily understood if it came off of a CNC machine, but that he can do it by hand is awesome.
