No idea. I vaguely remember some postings by you but have no idea what you consider mild and I do not have a Wolfman WR2 to compare.Too mild?
Is the Wolfman WR2 more effective?

Post shave : Yaqi "The Green" splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
It should be found in most drug stores, it is made in the USA and is used by millions around the world!I had not read about this Cerave lotion before.
Can it be found locally in shaving stores in the U.S.?
Ron, Appreciation for that detailed breakdown always, love it. The Teardrop handle looks nice and I'm a fan of the Yaqi Green which is a Lacoste homage. Every time I use the splash, my folks will ask what's that amazing scent, ha ha ha. Those samples are gold value. I'm sure you have the Yaqi Velvet Rose, that splash is my top fav, a homage to the Jo Malone. Unlike the Green which is soothing, the Velvet Rose leaves your face warm.DE SOTD, Saturday, May 11th 2024
Razor : Yaqi Sentinel SSP head with a Yaqi tear drop 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2022>, mild to tame mid range depending on blade and technique used. Excellent machining and finish QC. A person can accomplish some very nice shaves with out cuts or irritation with a shallow angle(riding the cap) I have found, steep angle shaving works with a Kai SS extra wide blade reasonably well also.
Had a nice close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : GSB (2) Sharp and smoooth with reasonable longevity. Top tier in my shave den.
Soap : Yaqi "The Green", a very nice natural scent that is addictive to want to use for myself + excellent lather qualities and post shave feel. Master soap creations of S.A where commissioned to create soap and fragrances for the Yaqi brand.
Brush : Yaqi "Viper" 24mm boar bristle. Excellent lather generator, soft split end bristle hair ends, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter. Very nice eye appealing handle with a decent boar knot for my shaving needs IMO.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Yaqi "The Green" splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : View attachment 1844488 or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Sentinel razor with a GSB blade.

Have some great shaves!
We seem to conclude similarly on the Yaqi products. As for certain Yaqi products in the soap and fragrance realm I have really enjoyed them a lot. Musketeer Rapier is one of my favorites and beware it is addictive also once used have been my thoughts.Ron, Appreciation for that detailed breakdown always, love it. Totally agree, the master Soap Creations (SA) quality shines in the Yaqi Shaving Soaps and After Shave Splashes. I've used Miyaqi, Bettie Bets and Lost Treasure too, love them all. Will definitely try out Musketeer Rapier. Sad to hear that the available Yaqi software has reduced in Canada, they really are VFM.We seem to conclude similarly on the Yaqi products. As for Yaqi soaps and fragrances it is hard to get them in Canada at the moment, in the past no problem but in the last year it seems Yaqi do not offer much at all and it is old products that where available prior, Government standards possibly or customs problems I'm thinking.
Master soap creations of S.A have done a nice job for Yaqi for quality products IMO, I did not care for their Sandalwood because it does not have herbal ingredients like TOBS or CRS which are excellent in their own rights.
the SB head cap is a bit different from the OC? The OC cap seems to be a bit thinner, the SB having some more material left under the cap. But could just be the angle and an optical illusion. I saw and felt quite a difference for my SB and OC.
I would try a different blade than the Bic chrome if your having issues, they are very sharp but seem unpredictable to my likings.Yes, I agree these two models are different. I am now the proud owner of the OC and the SB. They were just delivered to me recently, I have only a few shaves at this time using a BIC Chrome (a very sharp blade) but can see already the difference. I have more testing to do over the next month, and using a few different blade types, so I will report later with more detail. But at this time my impression is that the OC is a more sophisticated and improved tool over the SB. It is smoother, more controllable, and very consistant over a larger angle of attack. The SB is more like using a straight razor, a wonderful tool, but it is up to the user to use his expertise to, in a much narrower permissible range, get the desired result. With the SB it is very possible to get one of the best shaves of your life, but you must, for lack of a better word, concentrate.. The same result can be achieved with the OC with much less work.
I will take some close up photos of these two and post them later along with some digital caliber readings, but I can tell you now from casual visual inspection that the geometry is re-worked on the OC. The two are not the same. They are both called "Sentinel 1.50", but really they would be better thought of as a Type I and then a Type II.
if your having issues,
My misunderstanding, Glade your enjoying your shaves!Hi Ron !
I guess I did not write my post well.. Let me clarify: I am not having any issue with the BIC Blade or either of the Sentinel razors, Actually just the opposite. The BIC's are my standard Blade, I use them all the time in all manner of razors and love them. For me a Blade can not be too sharp! I am very familiar with them and intentionally put them in the Sentinel Type I & II for a test drive. And they worked out excellent! Although my Sentinels needs more testing over the next month the original indication is they are "keepers" in my rotation. They are very high performance razors and I like that. I think the use of the words "performance" and "agressive" and so forth is used here on this B&B as more or less of a negative dog whistle. But speaking for myself, I love razors like that, and that is one of the reasons that I specifically reached out and bought the two Sentinels. I suspected that they might be in the "high perfomance camp", and inital results from my first test indicate that is the case.
So Ron, just to clarify, I am not having any issues whatsoever. I am a happy camper. But thanks for your thoughts.
Handle is DSC SS handle nr.2 witch comes with zamack trio. Very good grip ! Zamack trio is real bargain for 23€.@Halfbeard the handle, DSCosmetic "Dog" or a Yaqi handle?
The AX in Stainless Steel is in the pipeline with the corrections made to the top cap and will be released later but the DScosmetic Rep hasn't confirmed any date. It all depends on when the company decides to release them. The good thing is that they do take customer feedback very seriously and work on it.
