Worth making this a travel brush?

I won this brush with an Old Spice mug. It is hollow plastic and has come unglued at the top white/black joint so getting the knot out should be easy. I am thinking of getting a synthetic knot to make this a travel brush. Is it worth the effort? I don't think it was ever used but the bristles are coming out in clumps.

I would not use that handle. Marvy handles feel cheap to me and the plastic breaks pretty easy. I would get a nice handle from penworks and a synthetic knot off ebay.

I agree. I would consider that a throwaway. Any other vintage handle...
