Which shave-sticks are made with tallow?

I am thinking of getting a few shave sticks (due to space restrictions, they take less space than a soap bowl...), and it should be a tallow based soap. Which shave sticks do contain tallow (actually tallowate of either sodium or potassium to be correct)? I have heard that Valobra sticks and Tabac stick do contain tallow, but what other brands do so as well, like Speick, Arko, Lea etc.

Arko does and the Tabac stick is exactly the same as the tub soap !:thumbup1:

(and also the very rare Australian Fiji made Mennen. I'm trying to get hold of more but I have a bad feeling it might have been NOS stock !)

You are correct about Tabac and therefore don't forget Irisch Moos. Valobra, Speick, Palmolive, Wilkinson, Arko.

There are a couple of old ones that you may still be able to come across sometime like Yardley, old formula Erasmic, and even Williams (and NO, it does not suck, and does not smell like the current stuff, actually it has a rose scent, along with a wonderful lather)

From what I understand, the D.R. Harris sticks are the same soap as in their pucks, and they have some great scents (something is sure to please just about anyone)

There are even some that have had good experiences with grating hard soaps into stick containers (I have not tried this, and question the physical strength of such a creation, but with the proper container, patience in construction, and care in use, it may not be an issue)

LEA, BEA, and LaToja are not tallow based, but I can say that LaToja and LEA are great stuff, with the BEA made by the same company as LEA, but simply with a milder scent (according to the manufacturer, I have not tried the BEA)

YMMV
