Australian Made "Goodthings" Shave Stick by 3P, a Replacement for Windsor?

I found this shave stick at a pharmacy yesterday, and I hadn't come across it before. There's not much info about it online and no mention on B&B so I thought I'd make a thread.

The product is called "Goodthings Shave Stick", product code "SHV 209". It is a 50 gram stick of soap, made in Australia. It is sold/distributed by a company called 3P (no relation to the Italian preshave). I don't know how long it has been on the market, but I don't think it's been long. I bought it for $6 AUD, and the going price from other pharmacies seems to be $5-7.
It is a hard vegetable based soap, perhaps softer than Australian Palmolive but harder than ARKO. The scent is a pleasant lemon and lavender, with the lemon remisniscent of 4711 or Turkish lemon kolonya, and the lemon/lavender slightly of Blue Stratos aftershave.
It smells much nicer than ARKO (which is pungent but I personally don't dislike it), or, more relevantly, Windsor (which smells like chemicals, and could be described as a different flavour of urinal puck).
Windsor was an Australian made shave stick that disappeared from the market quite a few years ago (2016?), and I believe the Goodthings shave stick is the exact same formula/ingredients, presumably made by the same OEM, just with a different scent. I never tried Windsor back in the day, but I found a stick today in a pharmacy, so I now have a comparison. The Windsor stick was sold/distributed by Doward International, and it seems they do not exist anymore, and 3P has picked up some of their business. Neither Doward or 3P are soap manufacturers, so the soap would be made by another manufacturer such as Pental (just speculation on my part, but seems the most probable).
Both Windsor and Goodthings come in the same style stick shape, box and wrapper. The ingredients of both the Windsor and Goodthings are identical. I previously thought they where different, but I was looking at the ingredients for a different Windsor soap.

I have yet to use either of these shave sticks, my hopes aren't the highest honestly, but the scent being different is definitely an improvement. I will update here once I've tried it.
Anyone else tried the new shave stick, or have memories of the old Windsor?

(As a footnote, there was also another Australian made soap (75 gram puck) back in the day sold under the Comoy brand, that was also probably made by the same soapmaker, but has also since disappeared from the market, and is less relevant to this shave stick as it seems to be a different formulation. Windsor also made a larger bar that also seemed to be a different formula to the stick)

Good find. I have heard of Windsor Shaving soap but not the Goodfellows. I think I have some Windsor Shaving Soap here but I will have to have a look. Nice to see some shaving products hitting the market again. One of the local Chemists here in town sell a Windsor Shaving Brush for around $20 from memory.

Thanks for sharing.

The Windsor stick used to sell for $2 just a couple of years back.

The soap performed decently , especially at the price point.

Yes, definitely a price increase, but that's not suprising in this day and age, it's been 6-7 years since they stopped making the Windsor from what I can recollect. The Windsor stick I found today was $2.95, but it's been sitting there for years at that price. Makes Palmolive cream feel like an absolute steal at less than $3 a tube, and has been that price for probably more a decade.

I had the comoy soap and a puck of windsor too (came in a nice gold colour metal tin).

Performance wise, they really were very basic and also had very synthetic scents.

Decent options for any one that has no clue about what else is out there.

Update:
First time using the Goodthings shave stick. Scent wise, it's a pleasant lavender lemon/orange/citrus with a bit of musk, better than the Windsor, but still has a hint of the same funk. Performance wise, the lather felt a little dry and collapsed quickly to be thin on the face, but it was slicker than I was expecting (to the point it was a bit hard to rinse off afterwards). I think I could probably hydrate it more (bigger brush would help a little, I just didn't want something that would hog the lather too much), but the texture of the lather was odd enough that it was hard for me to gauge how well I'd hydrated it. Overall, better than I was expecting, but I don't think it'll become a regular in my rotation.
