I don't have the discipline to 3017 a soap, but I can use one for a month. In my quest to actually use up the soaps I have, that's my M.O. - one month, one soap in the SotMC spirit - and October is for TABAC. With another Arko August in the books, we (okay, some of us) look forward to spending a month with the other polarizing soap that many of us (okay, again, some of us) love, TABAC!
You have about four weeks to order some Tabac, if it's not already at hand, and receive it in time. If you have it, you can let your Tabac "air out" before use (if that's your thing, though it seems a waste), or grate it and soak it in some aftershave (preferably Tabac aftershave) in preparation for the month. Heck, you might do all of that and more.
To join, just post here (or don't). Even if you only want to use Tabac in October rather than for October, feel free to add a SOTD post. All uses of Tabac products qualify, whether that's shave soap, bath soap, EDT, mouthwash, car air freshener or pet shampoo. We'll accept tallow and non-tallow alike, though I hope people will note which they are using (see below).
As in the Arko August thread, participants are organized based on how much they plan to use Tabac during the month, and I hope the categories are sufficient. That said, it's entirely acceptable to move categories during the month.
I'll start the list in the next post. Feel free to self-select by updating and re-posting the list. When you sign up, please self-identify by adding a note, such as "Tallowbac" or "Newbac" or something else.
Mods: Please leave this in "General" until the 15th of October so that we can get as many participants as possible. After that, feel free to move it to the Shaving Soaps sub-forum.
