It tastes like licorice to me - an acquired taste for sure and I have no desire to acquire it.

Have you tried cold brew? I use cold brew bags to steep it in a large pitcher, but it’s easy to make small batches in a French press. My preference is to make it twice as strong (around 1:8 ratio) and then dilute with equal parts water or milk.
This afternoon i made a cold brew coffee with frothed cold oat milk, vanilla syrup and topped it off with cinnamon sugar. I enjoyed it. Have a blessed night.

Didn't love yesterday, though. Water pump went out on my truck. Parts are another thing that went sky high along with our groceries.
Back to an old fave, Maxwell House Original.

Good morning- actually slept a bit better last night….feeling pretty alert and I’m brewing a pot of my mystery grounds that I have in my canister. It’s a collection of coffees that I grind that I toss in there and then later on I brew. Using my ancient Moccamaster to get this concoction ready for tasting. Have a wonderful day today 
No coffee today, although tomorrow... tomorrow shall be a "coffee in each hand" day, long, long day today, work gathering after work, rush home, shower, then will need to drive across town to grab relatives, then wait with them/drop them off at the airport. Get home at around 1am with an alarm to go off for tomorrow 3 hours later.

This morning is some Honduran coffee that was roasted about 4 days ago. Still a bit hot to drink and really taste it well.
Done in the Bunn with a bit of half and half.

Sorry guys, I caved, was -really- dragging this morning in meetings... I'm sure the meetings didn't help (I dislike meetings with a passion) and doing the ole head bobbing/rope-a-dope throughout, ran back to my office and broke out a pod. Americano? no. Lungo? Nope. Hit that espresso button.

I had a rough night sleep too..... but I just brewed a French Press full of Don Pablo Signature blend and am listening to Derek and the Dominos "live".... this rendition of Crossroads might be the best Clapton ever did, imho:
Morning gents, working on 3-4 hours ish of sleep, but... I feel fine? Either way I'm double pumping coffees, one small dark roast and a large iced coffee. It's already Friday and it's great, hope everyone has a great one.
V60 pour over poured into a shot of espresso, both made with Happy Mug Guatemala espresso beans. Now I’m wide awake this morning! Looks to be a fine day, sunny and high around 78°. Yard work, hiking and some time on the golf course on the agenda.
