What's for Dinner at Your House?

Tonight was grilled pork chops. They were marinated in soy sauce seasoned with Penzey's Chinese Five Spice and a healthy heap of garlic/ginger paste. During the grilling process I basted them with some soy sauce, garlic/ginger paste, and honey thinned out with a little water. Here they are right off the grille -

Had a nice coffee stout beer from Thimble Island Brewing Co, right here in Branford, CT, to wash it all down. It doesn't get much better than this.

Thanks, been doing st louis style and have it down pretty good... love the pellet smoker.. a bonus for me is the wife doesnt eat as much smoked as I do, so I cut off the thinner end flap for her and either bake over saurkraut or bbq with chinese red sauce for her,,

A small boneless lamb joint, quietly roasting away with some carrots. I've got a few new season's Maris Piper from M&S - the farm is in Suffolk - will be simply boiled and served buttered. I'm making a sauce with Cab Sav and chicken stock. I may zap a few frozen peas in the micky for some greenery.
