My oldest (in terms of age) razor, the Gillette NEW Short Comb in rhodium from the 1930s. Chambered with a Personna blade, either the Lab Blue like today or the Personna Red, it gives a smooth, drama-free shave.
OneBlade Genesis / GEM (3rd) - First two passes, but just wasn't cutting it this morning
Rockwell 6S 6R / German Wilkinson Sword (# unknown, lots) - 3rd Pass & Cleanup Pass
Caties Bubbles Irish Coffee / 30mm Synthetic
Mentholated Witch Hazel
Polo Red Intense Balm
Classic Match Red
Results: Rockwell easily got me down to a true BBS shave, as the OneBlade just wasn't cutting it this morning, both figuratively and physically (yep, pun intended).
Karve Copper C plate w/BIC Astor blade, Zenith B29 boar brush, B&M Le Grand Chypre soap , Osma alum block, Thayer's Cucumber/Witchhazel facial toner non alcohol
Awesome, AWESOME shave with this particular Karve, loving the weight of it and the aesthetic of the copper, I'm also finding that I prefer the shorter 3.5 in handle vs the 4 that my brass has. Can't recommend this thing enough when they start producing more.
