As for Topaz blades, yeah they suck big time. I didn't know much about shaving gear back then. I thought all blades were similar. Hated shaving. I never knew that you could have an irritation free shave. Always thought getting nicks, razor burn were all part of shaving. But I received some good advice from a relative a few years later and once my DE89 arrived together with the Astra and Arko soap, I just couldn't believe what I was missing [emoji23].

FaTip Special Edition (Gentile Head) with a Super Shave X Platinum (4). Fourth and final shave with one of these blades, it still feels very smooth but definitely lacking in sharpness for this razor now.
I used a böker elite sr with carbon fiber scales. Used tabac soap with it and sp after shave.
