What does the Wolverine shave with?

Cool News for the wet-shaving community! A scene in the Wolverine movie shows Hugh Jackman/Wolverine shaving with what appears to be modern DE such as a EJ89 or Merkur 38c. He does slice his neck though! Has anyone else noticed this? First, Bond and his'cutthroat' and now this! Very cool!

This may be a stupid question. Why doesn't Wolverine just pop out one blade from his hands and use it for a straight? What am I missing?

All of his cuts/bullet wounds/flesh being ripped off in chunks by radiation storms all heal instantly... Still uses SAFETY razor?

**** spoiler alert ****

the plot device during that part of the movie is that he's lost his regenerative/healing properties, so he's learning to live like a standard man

If he could extend just one blade at a time I could see him shaving like that. If he can't and he has to drag all three blades across his face at the same time then that is just like using a cart! And Wolverine is a tough guy so that would never happen!

Yeah I went to see wolverine yesterday and was surprised to see wolverine shaving traditionally! Although not surprised because he in the comic series he's mad old fighting in the civil war, ww1,ww2 and NAM' he's old school after all!! But def glad to see wolverine is part of our Fam in the shaving community'

There's a reason why he has to use a safety razor and not his own claws. See spoiler in the above post by .SOAP.

I saw the movie last night and had to smile when he picked up the DE.

I noticed that Michael Corleone shaves with what appears to be a Gillette Slim Twist in the Godfather III, since we're talking about movies. Haven't seen any wolverine flicks though.
