This take a proprietary blade that is wider left-to-right than a standard Gem, and less wide than an AC blade.

If you’re going to try this one, it will secure a Gem backed against the *middle* post. The corners will be exposed, fair warning. You will also be responsible for making sure that the blade exposure is even left-to-right.

Another package from the Captain:

I've been using one of the Captain's standard copper bowls for a while now and grabbed a ceramic one a few days ago. It arrived today and I was quite shocked to say the least. The captain misrepresented the bowl! No where did he indicate just how beautiful it was. It is quite the looker and the wife has threatened to take it as a decorative item for the kitchen.

For those who don't know if you order straight from the captain you'll get a free sample or two. The Lime soap is excellent and for those who love Proraso red the Sandalwood aftershave is great. What really put the icing on the cake is that he threw in a free tub of shaving cream! The captain really is one of the most generous persons on this forum.

The USPS delivered my Colonel Conk shave stand today. It will go on top of the shaving den caddy to create more space, and to keep the current rotation's shave stuff in one place.

Received this lot in the mail today. It all came from eBay and was one complete lot. The Gillette old type is very worn, the Gillette Tech is in pretty good Nick with a spare cap and baseplate but what I bought the lot for is the last couple of photos. The pick is the crappy old falling apart case with the Gillette Goodwill in it. The cap is fairly worn but it still should clean up okay.

Yes, this 6210 came from Maggard's.
It is larger (26mm) and splays as such. Given the loft has less backbone than say the 26mm Moka Express from Yaqi.
Feels great so far and will definitely make the rotation once it completes the Onboarding Process

Brother Boar should be here by Friday from Connaught Will respond if it miraculously comes with an Omega Emblem

Is that a Rolls Razor handle to the right of the Old Type?

Found this kit in the wild today.

Normal soap tin has a nearly-full bar of Johnson’s baby soap. There is an unused toothbrush in that holder. There is a partial soap stick, and a sad little brush.

And this.

After removing the Feather blade dying inside the razor, I did a pass with Dawn and a toothbrush.

Mystery shave stick.

This poor thing makes me sad.
