What's new

WCS just got my order!

I decided to go with the Semouge 1305 as my first brush.

I've also got a tub of Proraso green coming. I hear good things and I figure what the hey?

I decided to go with an alum block as well. It sounds as if it's of use for more than just staunching the flow.

Still can't decide if I'm a bowl latherer or face...

Maybe I'll ask my wife which I prefer. HA, Gotcha!

So I ask my wife, "Hey Hunny, do you know why women wear make-up and perfume?"

Answer: "Because they're ugly and they stink!" LOL
"Hunny...
...Babe? :confused1

Great choices man! Semogue makes
amazing brushes. I'm in love with my 620 which is really starting to break in after a month of extensive test lathering and use :)

Also my first cream or soap was Proraso Green. Amazing lather; impossible to go wrong with. In fact I revisited it last night with MWF. Super results.

What razor did you choose and also what blades?

Good choices, dont get hung up on Bowl vs Face lathering its a silly thing here that people argue about, i do both depending on what i use.

Start off with a bowl to learn how the lather builds by adding water slowly. It's easy to create consistent lather in a bowl when youre a noob IMO.
