No one mentioned the obvious choice? Baby oil—Johnson & Johnson baby oil or better yet the store brand stuff which is just as good but cheaper. It’s a finer grade of mineral oil than the stuff you take for constipation— which always seemed too thick and syrupy to me. I’ve looked for fragrance-free baby oil but never found any. I don’t care for the baby smell but I try not to be a snowflake about it.
Being a vegan, I don’t love the idea of using oil made from babies, especially if it smells like them.

If you want to use it for honing you have to use cold pressed babies.
