Hmm I wonder if you would never need to rehone a Valerian steel straight razor? I mean I don't recall anyone with a Valerian steel sword ever sharped theirs (likely in the books I bet though). Seems like it would be profitable to gather a medium sized mercenary group to plunder what's left of Valeria and deal with the stone men. The swords would be worth a fortune but even simple things that super rich people pay stupid amounts of money for that would be more everyday items there like Valerian Steel straight razors, or even food utensils.
