Vintage Mechanical watches. A few questions.

Have you thought about going Russian? I've got an old Vostok mechanical that keeps fairly good time (+- 45 seconds a day) and you can usually find some pretty sweet deals on other Soviet era watches on the bay. You can also buy new Vostok's. The Amphibian is an awesome diver, if that's your thing.

Yeah Russians look like really good values for the money, but the "skeletons" from Russia I'm seeing are just watches that had the face ripped out so you see a big metal plate and maybe 1-2 gears. Not really skeletons. I've been browsing to see if any non-skeleton appeal to me, and some of them might.
