What's new

Two new creams on the way . . . . .

Less than two months in, I started with ToBS Shaving Shop and shortly afterwards added Mr. Taylor and Sandalwood. I don't think much of Mr. Taylor, I don't think there's much scent to it and it performs the same way as its two brothers which smell much nicer. In fact I like Shaving Shop so much that I've also bought the aftershave gel, aftershave lotion and cologne.

My tub of Shaving Shop cream doesn't have much left in it, we have very hard water and I need to use a fair bit to get a lather so I've bought a new tub but have also just ordered tubs of Castle Forbes Lime and Proraso Green. I'm surprised at the cost of the CF, the 50ml tub is more than a 150ml tub of ToBS cream.

I'm now face lathering with a Duke 3 in best so I hope this was a good choice of new creams to try.

They look like a good choice to me. CF is widely praised and I've heard a little goes a long way. I've had Proraso (C.O. Bigelow) sitting in a drawer for nearly 6 months and still haven't got around to trying it!. Too many others to get past first. Let us know how you get on with them.

I buy the large tub of CF and a little really does go a long way. For me, an equal number of shaves with proraso would be $29. worth - so I find it well worth the money.
