What's new

two names alike (a B&B classic post)

It's the third time I've read this thread and each time never fails to give me a chuckle.

Amen...but tonight it was full fledged laughter...again!

What a boob!

And the commentary afterwards was rich!

I remember once I was shocked to find that there was someone on the internet with the same name as me. And I didn't even know them! We never even met!

No other Bobs here, right . . . ?

Thanks for stickying this thread. It was a good laugh!

BTW, my name is Stan, but I'm more known as Stan the Old Man. That would have upset him for sure, especially since he is twice my age.

Also, one of the other forums I'm on has another bindibadgi. Go figure. Maybe I'll start a thread like this one...

Or maybe not.

This never seems to get old or lame. Every time I here someone mention Stan Musial in context I smirk and giggle out of context :001_rolle!

"One of these names is not like the other /
one of these names just doesn't belong ...."

.... oh never mind.

I kinda like that name too. Can I change mine to one of the following?
Stan, the Man Note the comma
Stan the Man Looks identical, but it's pronounced Stahn
Stanley the Manly

Just keeping a good thread alive.

Apparently there are a few Stan's here who think they are the man:

Stan The Man
Stan-The-Man
stanman
stantheman
stanthemanc
Stantman
