Tutorial on Melting Soaps into Other Containers?

I'm a noob and I'm comfortable using shave creams now, but I have some shave soap pucks that I want to put into jars before using them. I've seen pictures of gents with soaps in glass jars, how do you guys go about melting your soap into a new container?

If they are glycerine based they can be melted

If they are tallow based they need to be run through a cheese grater and pressed into the bowl

Just out of curiosity, are you planning on putting them a mug or jar? For some reason I'm envisioning a mason jar filled with shaving soap.

I just about died laughing! I've seen some small glass bowls that have lids that I am aiming to use.

I've nuked glycerine soaps, usually about 10-15 seconds at a time. You can then transfer to another container, mix with another melted glycerine, or whatever.
