Hi, gents! Nivea shaving creams are very popular, at least in my part of the world - Eastern Europe. But I have never seen on the market Nivea Shaving Soap. This one is a collection specimen and can not be used, at least for now, I only enjoy smelling it - and the aroma is so nice. As you can see, it was produced, or at least packed, on a special occasion. How many of you have ever used Nivea Shaving Soap, can you please share your opinion on it? Greetings!

Beautiful. I was not aware of a tub of Nivea shaving soap but I do have a stick of Nivea Body shaving soap which I haven’t used. I would definitely add it to my supplies if it was obtainable out here in Australia.
Never heard or seen of it before. Putting the batch code into checkfresh.com brings up a production date of 2020-05-11 (11th of May 2020). Searching the product number/barcode doesn't bring up anything on the internet.

It was produced, not only packed, on the occasion of the brand anniversary and as it seems, not released for free sales. Which is a pity, I do not even dare to describe the aroma, but it is so fresh and crispy. Greetings!

There was also a shaving soap produced by Nivea Romania for a few years starting from 1979.
I am yet to try it, but the standard for shaving soaps of that times reads "The soap base is a mixture of sodium and potassium salts of fatty acids from animal fats, with the addition of coconut oil." (STAS 3028-79); therefore, I expect it to behave like a good old-style tallow-based hard shaving soap.

That looks really good! The ingredient list ready well - like many triple-milled soaps. Is it quite a hard soap?
Yes, it's a hard puck.
I have the Nivea Shave Stick which I think is the best shave stick on the market. Nice scent also.
