My favorite soap tubs - MdC and Ethos nothing is even close but they are both expensive and premium. PETG is just a superior product to what you see in 20 dollar soap tubs.

For me it's all about the contents. If a good soap is smartly packaged then that's a very, very minor bonus.

+2! Yep! What’s in the container is critical. (I frequently purchase simple pucks to place in my own containers.)

I've bought only soaps that you guys have spoken highly of about the past two years or so. I approached this forum with similar MO as other forums. I give it some time, learn who to trust, and go from there. So the Arko guy looks like Santa, it's what's inside. Colonel Konk has been with me since day one. Packaging is nothing to write home about, but it's what's inside. Lather & Wood's Bay Rum will win no beauty contests, but the stuff inside brings me pleasure.

My wife isn't Mrs. Universe, OK that's enough for now.
