Trying to identify this razor. Merkur users please assist

http://goo.gl/8Z15e I found a deal through this site and it looks nice, and I really like the razor in the picture. I hear good things about Merkur and I don't really care which razor I buy at first, but at a fair price and a look I like.

The link describes it as a 180 and most of what I've read state 23c and 180 should be one in the same. But this looks more like a 20C http://goo.gl/HTZqB

I like the twisted, matte look of the handle. Any opinions? In your experience ordering online, has the picture usually been accurate. It looks like theres a home-taken picture as well on the amazon page I linked, so I would expect that razor.

This would be my first DE. Not definitely going to jump on this, but it seems like a fair price

After reading some reviews it sounds as though the 180/23c used to be the advertised picture and people were unhappy receiving the 20c type shown now, but it seems that what is in the pic is what I would receive

You might want to verify through an email whether the pic in fact matches what you will receive before ordering.

from my experience i recommend getting stuff from westcoast shaving.

my razor looked exactly like the one i looked at.

Not everyone who sells razors knows what they are talking about. That doesn't look like a 180/23C to me, but the good news is that it is probably the same head; only the handle is different.

Stick with one of the B&B vendors if you want to be sure of a knowledgeable retailer.
