What's new

Trumper's Oxford Blue.

This soap had eluded me for quite some time, until I was recommended to this website.

Many of you have probably heard of Ray before but, at the time, I hadn't and I'm impressed with his selection and fair prices. I haven't received my order yet but I'm extremely glad to have found a reputable vendor who caries this soap. :biggrin1:

Isn't this the soap that some (John Crissman?) claim is redolent of Trumper's Spanish Leather?

If so, needless to say, there are countless members that anticipate a review!

I'm not sure about that. But I suppose now I'll have to get my hands on some Trumper's Spanish Leather so that I may compare the two.

I shall indeed write a review once I have given the soap a rigorous and fair trial. :biggrin1:

How lucky you are. Don't take the location for granted.

I went there and got the Trumper's Eucris. Ray has a great selection of products and the prices are as good as anywhere else on the internet. I will probably be trying one of his soaps next, maybe the chilled one.

Edit: Back to the topic, I smelled the oxford blue and from what I remember it was too floral/powdery for my liking. The Eucris on the other hand smells excellent. If I could describe it in four words they would be: fresh, masculine, sophisticated, and old-fashioned. Those may be common words when describing soaps but that is what comes to mind.
