My wife brought some toffe home today. I can't remember when I last ate it. Wonderful.
I'm with ya. Sugar is no bueno. A taste on the other hand fits in nicely.I have rejected sugar in my diet, but I would cheat in a second for toffee! It is one of my weakest treats.

Since it was a gift from my wifes coworker we'll give it a QC taste.
I traded the toffee girl with two bags of mixed lettuce and kale from my garden.Oh my! I feel weak, very weak
Great wife!
Sometimes the South is no good for you. You, sir, are evil.
on edit: I am now down 3 notches on the belt. Sweet tea was likely responsible for at least one.
Thanks, that’s about 27 pounds. Have more to go. I’m just cutting way down on carbs (bread is a weakness), smaller portions, and no eating after work (I get off at 2300)Sometimes the South is no good for you.
3 notches? WOW...great job.
We are near a Russell Stover “outlet” store. Their toffee squares covered in milk chocolate are so much better than Heath or Skor candy bars. Thankfully, I do not drive that direction very often.
Any chance of the recipe for the weird fake toffee thing? My wife makes a weird fake toffee thing for the holidays that involves saltines, brown sugar?, butter, and chocolate chips.
Relatively cheap, and oh so easily sinful!
She also makes caramel for Christmas.
Have I mentioned I married up?
Yes! I'll get it to you tomorrow. Remind me if I take too long though!Any chance of the recipe for the weird fake toffee thing?
