Need some remote shopping guidance

Some co-workers are traveling to India this summer for annual vacations. Last year, one graciously brought back 3 tubes of Dettol Citrus Lime shaving cream for me. $4 for all three on Amazon India.

What should I have them look for me this year? I was thinking some interesting creams and some Gillette 7 O'clock Black blades.

Looking for ideas?

Also, I'm thinking that some of these 'shopping' items could be for a PIF for you fine gentlemen, so let's have some interesting ideas.

You might look into tubes of Old Spice shaving cream.

Or are there any after shave products from India that would be of interest? I don't know what is made there so I can't suggest any product names.

If I had the opportunity, Trigodon Shaving Soap has been a long time resident on my Shaving Bucket List, mostly because of the tin design and scent profiles. India makes some great shaving items - razors, blades, soaps/creams/croaps, etc. For me, I love things that are "just off" the beaten path.

You might consider some of the Indian Old Spice. I have not used it in years, but it is supposed to be very close to the old Shulton version.

A few large blocks of alum. I understand alum blocks are a commonly encountered item in stores there.

Anherb Aftershave Conditioner is perhaps the best aftershave balm I've tried. Now comes in a different bottle, don't know if there's been a corresponding change in ingredients.

I have the idea that the Palmolive creams were discontinued. You could try Godrej, Yardley, Dettol, Gillette...many brands to choose from.

You might consider some of the Indian Old Spice. I have not used it in years, but it is supposed to be very close to the old Shulton version.

For years P&G had kept contracting out manufacture of Old Spice in India to the same company that Shulton had used but that ended more recently. Old Spice Fresh Lime and Musk are still available in India though.

Well well well, reports from the team that got to Pune today, there is an actual Truefitt and Hill shop on premises of the hotel. Sounds like it has a full line of products for sale as well as barber services.
