Too shady not to big
The marketing and shilling that he does is shameless. But what really got me was the faked ingredient lists. I only used one PAA product many years ago and it burned the hell out of my skin. I won't tolerate lying when it comes to ingredient lists and product safety.
And...just to pile on....And you could do it without wearing a disguise, lying about your ingredients, price fixing and a whole bunch more
I'm aware, but I've only had good experiences with them. I've dealt with Matt on several occasions and he's been great.Do some research on the business before you act. Plenty of threads regarding their customer service track record -- read up!
The 6S has a satin finished.I've never tried a 6S, but I rather doubt it.
I found an Aristocrat in this condition ...
... then sanded (yes, sanded) the head down to the brass and polished it to this state:1946 Aristocrat top_before__6794
Note the scratches and pits. These were noticeable (as dragging) during shaving.
1946 Aristocrat polished_6877
Sanded to get most of the pits and scratches out, then buffed.
I did feel a difference in the shave, but that's due to the horrible original roughness.
Wait - Is the 6S polished, or does it have a satin finish? If you want a shiny/smoother finish because of how it would feel I'd simply polish the cap.
Good to know, thanksI have read from several jewelry websites that Rhodium does not plate well over SS and that the SS should be plated with nickel or gold before applying Rhodium. I don’t know if RE does this , it would be worth asking.
I own a Karve and a Rex, and I've only had my 6S for a few days and I've already gotten the best shave of my life with it. I'm going to get a B plate for the Karve to see if matches/beats the 6S, but so far the 6S has been my best razor. Can't recommend it enough, especially for $84 brand new at RE.I was about to ask the same thing about the rhodium 6s. I’ve been eyeing the different 6s’s trying to decide if I want to get one, or an adjustable. I need a change from the ole DE89
Naw, too much of a hassle. I just use one plate for everything. I do change settings on the Rex throughout the shave.Do you change the plates on yours on your neck, upper lip, etc.. or second or third pass. Or do you use one plate the whole shave
He ought to wear a disguise ......I went to my order email my order of 3 items was $38 and change shipping was $13.80
FINALLY!!!!!Well, first the Earth cooled. And then the dinosaurs came, but they got to big and fat. So they turned into oil.................
