I've never liked conor. And based on his out of cage antics, hitting old men, cheating on is wife, doing drugs with escorts, assaulting fighters, jumping in the cage to assault a ref, a possible rape charge. I dont see how he has any fans at all
I've never seen Conor's misdeeds listed out like that. I guess it is pretty surprising.

Unfortunately, human nature is such that there are enough people out there who like that sort of stuff, who ARE like that sort of stuff, and he finds fans not only in spite of that behaviour but because of it.

At 185? Sure. Jones would have a near death experience making that weight.

At 205? I'd make him a 9:2 dog

Lol Maybe I missed it but I don't think anyone expects jones to get down to 185. Adesanya might walk around at what 195 max. The guy is skinny. Jones probably comes in close to 215-220 on fight night. I'm not even interested in this "super fight." I don't understand the fascination with it. How about he gets past Romero first.

Oh, it's a ridiculous fight to book, because there is no way to make it even close to competitive. Adensaya IS thin but, like Jones going to HW, if he decides to bulk up a bit, he instantly becomes a contender at 205.

I think if israel bulks up, he loses much of his speed. Look at how big gsp was against bisping. He was really slow in that fight. He had power though.

Same thing when jones bulked up (i think it was against OSP?) he was also slow.

Being slow against jones is pretty much a guaranteed loss.

That was true a few years ago . . . but Jones looked slow and, frankly, "old" in his last fight. He is still a tremendous fighter, because he has much further to descend in any decline, but he is definitely not the guaranteed lock that he was five years ago. Who is?

Against somebody like Rumble or a healthy Santos, I think Jones would have a lot of trouble. But Adesanya is all but a guaranteed win and payday.

Whuh? Oh my goodness. My fear is that his cardio will be less than zero, and Jones will just keep him at bay until he tires. But if Rumble can get to 205 w/o killing himself . . . that is a fight that would really make me salivate.

The fight we were robbed of.

Jones has a solid chin, but a flush shot from rumble will more than likely put him to sleep.

Smart money on jones though, a clinch trip takedown from jones takes rumble to tap city

Agreed . . . Rumble needs to switch him off before Rd 3 or it is going to get ugly for him. Best hope for fans, is that Jones decides to pull a GSP and beat his opponent at his specialty. THAT could prompt some fireworks.

Rumble broke Arlovski's jaw three years back. His power is scary and he is the rare fighter who "brought it with him" as he got bigger. I wonder if he can get down to 205 again - he is a thick dude.

After last night, I think Chris Weidman can stop planning HIS fight with Jon Jones. Reyes finished him in less than 2 minutes. After winning the title and defending it three times, he has been KOed/TKOed in 5 of his last 6 fights.

I never liked weidman. So I'm glad he lost last night.

But he seems like a good family man and maybe he should think of hanging it up or start fighting journeymen. I would never wish brain damage on anyone.

Last night's card was good. What a bust that deron winn guy was. Cormiers protege. He must be 5'2 and he still couldn't make 185? He should get his nutrition on point, and maybe get down to 170 at least. He had no cardio last night

How about joe lauzon!!

Hardy with #inhalergate2019. I'll post about my thoughts later.

Yair is a cheater by holding jeremys gloves while in full guard.

That wmma fight was sort of an early stoppage in my opinion.

I liked Weidman early on but not after he became champion - too cocky for me. He should stop fighting now because he looks like the down side of Chuck Liddell's career.

Joe Lauzon put on a a great show for his home crowd. Hard to see how he could go out on as good a note as that. A warrior for sure.
