Guess what i am using tomorrow...........
Guess what I just used to shave with.
I just picked up my cased Ever-Ready Streamline strop set complete with original strop and all the pieces. I will try to get some pictures up once I get it cleaned up.

Just shaved this morning with my streamline. Very nice shave.
As promised, Some Ever-Ready Streamline Strop set porn. I haven't had a chance to clean up the case. If you look in the pics, the case suffered some damage a while ago and someone thought to glue it back together. The glue has since turned a light brown color. Does not affect my enjoyment of a complete Ever-Ready Strop set.
I hope you enjoy as much as I do. I don't think it has ever actually been used. The razor and stropper look about as nice as I have ever seen. The Strop itself is very nice and still feels soft and pliable.

Also as promised, my newest GEM Jewel set. This set is in pristine condition. Not only do I think it was never used, but I doubt it has even been handled very much. It is in perfect condition.
I never thought I would be fortunate enough to own even one of these rare razors. To have two makes me feel over joyed. I hope you like the pictures!

The strop is in very nice condition. It could be used its so new-like, but I seriously doubt I will ever do that.
William, them shavers are gorgeous! You must have a big collection of Streamlines and Jewels by now.
Thank you very much! I do have quite a few, but I have decided to limit my RAD to just this segment of SEs. I am really looking out for the alternate version of the Streamline. Some call them the "old" version, but I'm not sure when they came out. They are different in having a larger opening under the head, the comb does not have any openings, and the back of the razor is different. I am ever on the look out for this version, and of course more of the Ambassador types in different colored cases. I will try to get a group picture of all of mine when I am off again, (Tuesday).
You definitely have some mighty fine razors, hope you are able to find the old type streamline you are looking for, I look forward to the group shot of your streamlines/jewels.
Without wishing to add fuel to the fire, has anyone here mentioned the different Streamline models?

The one on the left is the older model. It has larger holes at the back to let the lather drip through, a slightly slimmer neck and the comb on the bottom doesn't have holes in it.
IMHO it shaves slightly better than the newer model.

It has been mentioned a few times in this thread. I have been searching for one of the "old" types for a while. I can't attest to their shave, as I've never had one. I would certainly like to see how it compares to my Jewels and Streamlines. Thank you for the picture!

I have to say it is my "Holy Grail" of razors at the moment.
I think you misunderstood me. It's my "Holy Grail" razor in that it is the one razor I truly want badly, but do not possess.Stop torturing me......
