Thank goodness for sample packs!

I got the Colonel Conk Sample pack! 3 cheers to them for sending it for free and quickly.

I only got the AS's, no soap. So far I have tried the lime and almond balm.

Lime: I don't like the smell.
Almond: Nice!!!! Smells like almond extract used for baking.

Bayrum and amber are up next. Will report back.

I like the Lime actually. It reminded me of Otter-pops!
The almond I didn't like because it smelled too "cherry- scented" to me. Like Jergins lotion.
YMMV I suppose.

Update:

I splashed on the bayrum and it is decent! This is my first experience with bayrum and it makes me want to explore other brands. The conk bayrum smells like cinnamon and cloves and slightly medicinal.

I just smelled the amber in the bottle. It smells like old man...and I LIKE IT.

There is actually a chemical compound in almond that can be similar to cherry, which is why cherry almond scents are somewhat common, though nothing particular comes to mind.

Chances are the slight hint of cherry means it is more natural almond, as opposed to artificial almond. I remember talking about it in my organic chem class along with a discussion about how the FDA regulates and defines "natural" and "artificial".
