Just wanted give a thank you to everyone who has posted, and commented over the years trying to also find a replacement for mine, and many others favorite soap scent, (the kraken). Been a member for a long time, but have not been on here for years. When my favorite soap and cream disappeared, I had no clue until I went to buy them years ago and couldn’t find them. And then saw when I googled it, that they were discontinued. Mickey Lee, The Kraken, and La Toja cream. And from time to time over the years, I would search on here, to see if anyone had found an alternative to either. It seemed hopeless, but at least now I have one that is close. Not exact, but. The Wanderer, is pretty close to the Kraken. And I actually like the performance better. So I am happy. I’ve tried a bunch of different brands over the years and I know there are so many new ones out there, and so many others that have been discontinued that were supposed to be similar, that I never even got to try. But at least right now, there is one that I like. I have been using. Tabac for years. Not huge on the sent, but the performance is still second to none as far as I’ve tried. This zingari brand is pretty great though. I still have a tiny bit left of my Kraken that I’m saving to be able to smell every once in a while, to compare other soaps to. I hope someday they bring it back, or at least sell the formula for those of us who would have bought a lifetime supply of them, had they known they were going to stop making them. These other two zingari scents are nothing to write home about, and “the watchman” smells like chocolate to my nose. 
I just saw today when signing on here that MWF is no longer based. I know I’m late to the party on that one as well and I still have some of my old puck, but this might be a good change for once for me. I’m not a huge fan of most tallow soaps. They all have had a thinner/airy lather. Almost like they are full of air bubbles. Which helps with glide but not so much protection. The reason I like tobac, la Toja, macca root, castle Forbes, pre de province, and many others is because they have that sticky, hard to wash off, protective lather. To each his own. Cheers fellas.
