Those are beautiful examples of vintage American steel that are becoming harder and harder to come by!Since we are showing off American Steel Acquisitions today, I didn’t want to be left out! This arrived a few weeks ago, and I haven’t done anything with it yet! He is joining his brothers!

Thank-you Sir!Those are beautiful examples of vintage American steel that are becoming harder and harder to come by!
Congrats!
In order to protect everyone, I use it patiently and will not leave my hands at present. XD
What material do you like the look of the most?.... Any suggestions for scale ideas?
A speculative bid since the razor was closed but the Magnum Bonum was clearly visible.
Well, it's a near wedge, measuring exactly 9/8 or 28.55mm with the calipers.

I have been thinking about it and will be eventually contacting Karl Johnson. He does some amazing restorations on these old Sheffields. That razor would be a great candidate for a full restore, personally, I wouldn't be bothered about keeping the very faint etching.
Since I started my SR journey with a Dovo, decided to pick another one. Bergischer Lowe 6/8.
I love the way Aust razor's look. They are not over done or underdone. Nice razor. I love those scales. My new travel razor for my upcoming month long trip. Of course, I’ll have to use it plenty in the run up to “break it in” !
