I've never been a fan of balms or milks but adding a dab of sweet Sue's Avocado Balm for a week has been fantastic. Nice very mild nutty scent that lasts a few seconds and my wife is loving it for her shaves.

Very nice jimps on that blade. I've never seen them done that way.

Thanks, Josh. I really have enjoyed the Kai. I'm getting a very close and comfortable shave with it. Now, if I can just track down one of those Kai non-foldings!

Results: Two pass BBS Shave; effortless!

It's hard to believe that they perfected the Safety Razor back in 1912 and it went the way of the dinosaur and was replaced by the Cart System. Go figure! When you have a great design that works as well as the GEM 1912 SE Razor, you've pretty much nailed it!

Went with SCS Parma Violet soap, Omega Pure brush, 66 slim adj Gillette starting at 7 and ending on 8. I have also been using Gillette's new face warming scrub and it seems to do a good job of cleaning my face and prepping the whiskers. After 3 passes I was BBS and liking it.
For post shave treatment I used my shavex alum block, then went with Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve. Overall a very nice shave!
