Today my shave was with a 1930s era French adjustable Cage Head razor, the Famex. The tighter one cranks the handle, the less efficient the shave. I like an efficient shave and this old razor delivered a two pass near BBS. 5 drops of M-Bomb cooled off my favorite shave cream, Kapo, made in Bulgaria which my Jayaruh Custom Boar whipped into a thick, creamy, protective lather enhanced by my PAA Cube Preshave soap. Altogether wonderful shave! I feel cool, smooth and refreshed!

Greetings,
A new shave set up to start the weekend...I'm making this a vintage SE razor week starting my weekend shave with the gem micromatic, which is the most efficient of all my SE razors...The gem OC micromatic, i find it incredible after only a small amount of shaves i've had with this very assertive vintage lady how comfortable i feel shaving with her..I've said it before treat any razor with respect, learn your technique, gain your shaving confidence and you'll be rewarded with some sublime shaves....This is essential with the gem micromatic oc...I recommend any traditional wet shaver if giving the chance, to experience shaving with a vintage SE razor once if possible...However, in my personal opinion i would recommend starting off with a Ever Ready 1912 (US) or (UK)which are far less aggressive to gain your technique & shaving confidence before moving on to the Very efficient gem micromatic open comb.YMMV.
A very enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups bbs shave with no errors to report.
Finishing to the shave off with a generous splash of Benjamin's ~ Mentholated ASL.
My face is feeling super smooth and smelling devine.
Enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.
