Greetings from Santa Rosa, CA

Saturday DECember 14

EverReady SE shave today.

Bowl/Scuttle - GP12
Soap - Le Pere Lucien
Brush - Jayaruh #330 White Oak
Blade - GEM SE SS (3)
Razor - EverReady 1933-34 SE
Post Shave - OSMA Pierre alum, Pinaud Clubman A/S

Shave rating 5 of 5

Surprised by today's shave. The blade is getting a little old and this razor and blade just gave me one of the best shaves I've ever received. Very smooth, could feel and hear the blade but it wasn't overly aggressive. A two pass shave, WTG and XTG, and it was easily BBS. The LPL produced great lather that was nice and thick and slick. The Jayaruh brush is a really nice brush. The alum was SILENT. Finished up with the Clubman.

Happy DECember and great shaves everyone.

Greetings,

A relaxing sunday morning shave...I've mentioned before in my previous sotd postings, the ever ready 1912 (US) was my first introduction to the wonderful world of Ever Ready SE vintage razors of which i would never have tried if it wasn't for a fellow member of TSR (UK) who kindly gifted it to me of which i'm eternally grateful...From my first trepidation maiden shave, i was instantly swooned by these vintage ladies, not just the looks no, the smooth efficiency of these razors is remarkably good,as is the audio feedback i mention again for the umpteenth time i could happily shave with these razors for ever, but like everyone else i like to rotate my razors in my shave set ups.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous Splash of Old Spice ~ Bearglove ASL Spray.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy your Sunday Ladies & Gentlemen.😎
