@ram57 - Do you find the E-3 more aggressive than the J-2? That is a nice looking brush.
The gent who made this brush did it whittling by hand, no machine work. Came out pretty good I think. As for the E-3, closer shave than the J2 but didn't feel aggressive. It is 10 hours since I shaved and very little stubble on the face. Very close shave.

Today was a bit nuts, but I'll stick to the shaving story.

Lately, after executing a speed shave with the Cremo Cooling, about 18-24 hours later, my face really starts to itch and become very irritated. Today, I needed to speed shave again. The Cremo Cooling and I gave each other a cold glare. Then it struck me, and I remembered something I bought for my wife last Christmas. I immediately bolted to her bathroom, rifled though her “organized” disarray of various shapes and sizes of squeeze, pump, and pour vessels, and absconded with her unscented Kiss My Face. I was impressed with the results and if I don’t start clawing at my face by tomorrow, the Kiss My Face will take up permanent residence in my den.

@Cash_Stronomer - A striking pic; quite stunning. I can almost hear the sounds of silence....
@eezee - (1) Grapefruit and lime. Nice combo. I've yet to use a grapefruit soap; almost bought the TOBS a couple of times. (2) Classy shave. Both the MdC and Davidoff are on my short list.
@lindyhop66 - That is one enviable shave.
@blexa - Nicely composed. How was the "13"? I received a tin last week and will probably use it soon.

@evnpar - Superb picture of a beautiful array. Love the dark color tones. Nice diagonal fading of light.
@Antique Hoosier - Really an exceptional overhead shot, Mike, especially the view of the razor.
@Brewster - Hard Times of the Solitary Shave. This is a great b&w pic with color!!!
@Noire - Excellent colorful, jaunty POV with a spot-on perspective. Love the raised blade and towering EdT.
@DabblinRazors - I guess you could call this neat photo "One Nutty Shave," Eddie. Sounds like KMF may be a winner for you.
@nikonNUT - I think Hallows has your number....

Hope your evening has been well, gents. My day was long once again and I need to arise early so I'll say good night now.

Be seeing you....

Be seeing you....

The “13” is wonderful! The good is that it is a solid soap ,not as soft as the bandit. The musk fragrance is great and not intrusive, just delicious.

ATT Calypso R1
Feather
Zenith B02 Boar
Nuavia Blu
Witch Hazel

A wonderful shave this morning to end the week. The big Zenith Boar whipped up the Nuavia Blu quickly and easily. The softness of the brush coupled with it's good backbone makes face lathering a pleasure. Three passes with minimal touch ups ended with a near BBS. I am finding the ATT Calypso R1 to be an efficient and comfortable razor to use. I hope everyone has a great Friday.
