Hey @ronweston, the Colonial General is really a fantastic razor, especially for its price. I never cease to get a BBS shave with it. It feels mild, but its surprisingly efficient and along with a Feather Pro, I'm doing much less clean up than with a DE. Its really a fantastic value.
On another note, today marks the beginning of the WOTW (Week of The Wolfman). I'm going to work with this guy. I've had the Wolfman a couple months and I have to say, although it is my favorite razor that I own aesthetically, it might be one of my worst shavers. I've tried numerous blades in it before I settled on Astra but when I come back to it in the rotation, I swear it seems like the shaves are hit or miss. I'm going to work with this one until I work out the problems. The Wolfman will never touch my Timeless but it should definitely outperform my two ATT razors (S1,S2) and I just don't feel like it does. I prefer my Gillette New thats ancient as well. Could just be a personal taste thing.
