Hey @ronweston, the Colonial General is really a fantastic razor, especially for its price. I never cease to get a BBS shave with it. It feels mild, but its surprisingly efficient and along with a Feather Pro, I'm doing much less clean up than with a DE. Its really a fantastic value.

On another note, today marks the beginning of the WOTW (Week of The Wolfman). I'm going to work with this guy. I've had the Wolfman a couple months and I have to say, although it is my favorite razor that I own aesthetically, it might be one of my worst shavers. I've tried numerous blades in it before I settled on Astra but when I come back to it in the rotation, I swear it seems like the shaves are hit or miss. I'm going to work with this one until I work out the problems. The Wolfman will never touch my Timeless but it should definitely outperform my two ATT razors (S1,S2) and I just don't feel like it does. I prefer my Gillette New thats ancient as well. Could just be a personal taste thing.

Route 66 Sweeney Todd today. 20 seconds to load the Thater Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette 7 O’Clock Blue SP still in the Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Bvlgari Man in Black EdT.

A superb day here, gentlemen. It was a joy to behold the beauty of the photographs and the succinctness of the written descriptions.

Thanks for each contribution. All are greatly appreciated.

@Smooth Steve - Quite a zesty looking shave, Steve. Like the lemons.
@UngerWoo - Top notch elements.
@Dagwoodz- Fine presentation, Josh. Splay of the razor is very dramatic.
@Clint64 - Attractive arrangement of an enticing shave.
@SCshaver - Stately setup. Enviable shave.
@Cash_Stronomer - Excellent placement of brush. That cracked, scarred wood is a great pedestal. Love the daredevil Fatip.
@Doug57 - A salute to the razors in waiting.
@lindyhop66 - Striking shot of the loner razor and brush.
@shm - Magnificent photo, Søren! I really should get some Myrsol!
@Bookie - That's a fine looking vintage flare tip. Great lather.
@fallenangell - Nice close up shot. Silk Road is an excellent soap.
@melyus - Excellent diagonal alignment. Very refined picture.
@Bobcat - Good looking shave, Bob.
@cmh737 - An eye-catching layout, Chris. Like the razor display. Lovely scales.
@sarimento1 - What a marvelous way to start the day! Beautiful photo, Murray.
@Jnatcat - Very pleasing high angle POV pic, Will.
@blzrfn - Comely photo, Dave. The snow jar is a nice touch. Did the Ibsen slant shave well?
@doc47 - Inventive arrayment, Dan. Great use of the towel.
@Brewster - This photo has a fine tumbled look to it. Goes well with the diluted color and its basic askewness.
@jmudrick - Glad the Supply SE is a winner for you.
@witeq - Superb golden toned photo, Witek. Use of the small chest is priceless!
@cruise_bone - Fine looking high angle vertical. How did you like the C&E West Indian Lime?
@xxlpack - Another excellent setup. I like the way the leaves bleed from the descriptive element onto your picture.
@samlark - The 400 makes an attractive razor stand. Sammy, is the slant performing well?
@ram57 - Do you find the E-3 more aggressive than the J-2? That is a nice looking brush.
@Antique Hoosier - Very handsome presentation, Mike.
@EzraCobb - Good close-in shot, Jamie. It would be nice to buy Palmolive locally when you need it.
@Smooth Steve - The ugly sweater is a great backdrop for your shave, Steve. Like the intruding cat's paw. I keep thinking about giving one of the Booster aftershaves a try.
@sandstone - Mark another one up as an exceptional pic, Phil. Fine dual purpose brush stand!
@evnpar - Beautiful portrait. I dearly love that SV turtle shell bowl.

I hope everyone's evening is pleasant and as eventful as you wish. I'm looking forward to Thursday being another splendid day.

Now I'll bid you a good evening, gents. Be seeing you.
Thank you very much, Ron! [emoji4]

The German 37 is a great performer. Getting the blade aligned correctly is a little tricky, but it doesn't take long. I like it a lot!
