Among all the days I shave I look forward to shaving on Fridays. Leaving a work week behind you actually get in a good mood to welcome a weekend and a great shave on Friday certainly uplifts your weekend vibes by manifolds!
Pre Shave - Forest Essentials Sandalwood and Orange Peel Pre Shave Oil Brush - Pink Woolf Boar Hair Brush with 25 mm knot Shaving Soap - Edwin Jagger cooling menthol shaving cream Bowl - Supply Co. Marble lathering bowl Razor - Parker Variant Satin Chrome Finish Blade - Feather blade on 4th use Post Shave - Running cold water splash along will application of alum After Shave - Davidoff Cool Water Aftershave Balm
Today’s shave was more of using all tried & tested products but combining them like it was never done before. Like combining the pre shave having Sandalwood fragrance and a shaving cream with menthol is generally unusual for me. Also Feather Blades with an adjustable razor was first for me. It is really wonderful to see that the experiments were successful today!
The result was a smooth BBS with couple of extremely minor nicks at neckline and just below the nose area. Barring at these nicks the alum hardly gave any feedback and Davidoff Cool Water’s oceanic notes took me to the Amalfi Coast again!
Next Shave is due on Sunday and already looking forward to that.
Shark Week 5th Shave! Soap PAA Cavendish Brush Yaqi 26mm Orange Black Synthetic Razor RazoRock German 37 Slant Blade JAWS 3rd Post & Aftershave
Ice Water + Special Thayers Mix
Hyaluronic + PAA Cavendish Splash
Re-used yesterday's excellent lather. It was all dried up but just added some water then working with the brush...produce enough lather for 4 passes. Scent still very good.
Shave with razor paired with blade today was a good. Nicely smooth, sharp and comfortable. 3+1 multiple passes without any weepers, creepers nor irritation. BBS to DFS result. Icy water rinse followed by cooling Thayers then soothed by Hyaluronic and the best among all my aftershaves, PAA Cavendish........again!!!!
Sharks circled but no blood today...
